| The club hosted the 2006 GWPCA Nationals, Friday October 27, through November 4 2006. The results are at schedual/Informationan/Field results also at the National Club web site. The Nationals consist of both a Dog Show, chaired by Joan Payton (held nesar Dickson, CA), and Field Trial and Hunt Test, chaired be Ellis Herz (Kisler Ranch near Jamestown, CA). |
| GWPSoCal was there. June 24-26, 2006 was the 17th Annual America's Family Pet Expo. The event was held at the Los Angeles County Fair grounds in Pomona, CA. We had a big booth with all the trimmings (special thanks go to Nikki Litwin and Cathy McGoon). We had puppies through show dogs. There were a lot of people that stopped to admire our breed. If you missed it, plan to attend next year. You can check their web site at Pet Expo. |
RALLY - AKC has come up with a new obediance type event which is an addition to the Companion Events. It's called a Rally. So what is a rally? The event conmsists of several manuvers that the handeler and dog must preform. There are different levels. A sample of an AKC event showing all levels event:
